I can't figure out how to set the default font to Verdana so Times it is. 
Gav has been working diligently on the progress. It's been a couple of weeks so I have some catching up to do.
As you can see, Arduino is communicating to the display via jumpers. 

Linux is running!

Elco isn't selling the pre-made shield PCB anymore so we are fabricating from scratch. This is a major PIA.  I'm going to reach out to him to see if we can get the design from him so we can have some boards etched:

 Meanwhile, makemode was hired to cut the case.
